Mr Can Cleaning – Service Terms & Conditions
These Service Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all cleaning services provided by Mr Can Cleaning (“we,” “our,” “us”). By booking a service through our website (https://www.mrcancleaning.co.uk/) or Stripe checkout page, you (“the Client”) agree to the following terms:
1. Bookings & Payments
• All bookings are made through our website and paid securely via Stripe.
• Payment must be completed at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
• Recurring cleaning services are billed weekly. Clients may cancel at any time as outlined in Section 4.
2. Access to Property
The Client is responsible for ensuring that cleaners can gain access to the property at the scheduled time. Accepted methods of access include:
• The Client or another adult being present at the property to allow entry.
• Providing a key directly to the cleaner (with Client’s consent).
• Using a secure key safe with the code provided to the cleaner.
• Leaving a key in a safe place (at the Client’s own risk).
• Arranging for a trusted neighbour to provide access.
3. Missed Access / Client Not In
If our cleaner arrives at the scheduled time and is unable to gain access to the property due to the Client’s failure to provide access, the following will apply:
• The cleaner will wait up to 10 minutes and attempt to contact the Client once.
• If access is still not possible, the cleaner will leave, and the booking will be marked as 'No Access'.
• The full booking fee remains chargeable for missed access appointments.
4. Cancellations & Rescheduling
• Clients may cancel or reschedule a booking by contacting us at least 24 hours before the scheduled time.
• Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance remain chargeable in full.
• In the event we need to reschedule (e.g. cleaner illness), we will contact the Client as soon as possible to arrange an alternative time.
5. Client Responsibilities
• The Client must provide safe access to the property.
• The Client must supply cleaning products and equipment, unless otherwise agreed.
• The Client must ensure the property is safe for our cleaners to work in.
6. Liability
• We are not liable for loss or damage to property caused by failure to provide safe or secure access arrangements.
• Cleaners are responsible for carrying out services with reasonable care and skill.
• We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses resulting from missed cleans or access issues.
7. Privacy & Data Protection
• We collect and process Client information in accordance with our Privacy Policy (https://www.mrcancleaning.co.uk/privacy-policy).
8. Governing Law
• These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of England and Wales.
• Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
